Ottoclip Guide / Feature Highlights

Content sharing and distribution

Share by link, email, MP4, or embed code, with links that stay the same when you regenerate.

Steps

  1. You've generated your content in every format. Now you need to get it in front of the right people — prospects, customers, internal teams. Ottoclip handles hosting and gives you four ways to distribute. Screenshot
  2. Copy link gives you a direct URL to the hosted content page. Viewers can switch between the video, interactive demo, step-by-step guide, and animation from the same link. Drop it in Slack, a support ticket, an email, or a CRM note — one link covers every format. Screenshot
  3. Email link opens a pre-populated email with the content URL. Useful for quick sharing with a prospect or teammate who needs a specific walkthrough. Screenshot
  4. On paid plans, Export as MP4 saves the narrated video as a standard video file for YouTube, Vimeo, or a slide deck. It's how video gets into presentation software, since Ottoclip's player doesn't run inside PowerPoint. An exported file doesn't change when you regenerate, so export it again afterward. Screenshot
  5. Embed code puts the narrated video, interactive demo, animation, or step-by-step guide on your website or help center, once the content is public. Screenshot
  6. Here's the important part. Hosted links, embed codes, and shared links stay the same after you regenerate. Viewers always see the current version. No broken links, no stale embeds, and no "please update your bookmarks" emails.
  7. Different teams use different methods. Marketing embeds demos on the website. Sales emails interactive links to prospects. Support drops guide links in tickets, and points users to in-app walkthroughs for help inside the product. To get embed code, set the content script to Public, as the visibility how-to explains.
